We don't lock you out at the limit
If you run out of documents for the month, you keep issuing and the overage is charged. It's a deliberate choice: blocking someone who needs the document to leave that very morning is the worst possible moment to say no.

Downloading each document, one at a time, has no limit on any plan. What's included from Sole Trader onward is downloading them all at once, with an index.
What happens if you cancel
The account moves to read-only archive mode. It doesn't issue new documents, but you keep access to everything already issued and can download it whenever you want. Article 9 of Orden FOM/2861/2012 requires you to keep documents for at least a year, and that obligation doesn't disappear because you stop being a customer: that's why we don't delete your history on cancellation.
Each document can always be downloaded, one at a time. If your plan included the export, you also keep the ability to download everything as a ZIP after cancelling, so you can have your own copy. More on DeCA retention →
Questions about the plans
What happens if I go over my plan's documents?
Issuing isn't blocked. An overage fee applies per document: €0.35 on the Sole Trader plan and €0.12 on the Professional plan. You can keep issuing the same day you need to.
Is there a minimum term?
No. Plans are monthly and you can cancel whenever you want from your account.
What happens to my documents if I cancel?
The account moves to archive mode: you can't issue new documents, but you keep access to everything already issued and can download it. That way you can keep meeting the one-year retention obligation under article 9.
Does the free plan have a time limit?
No. The free plan includes 15 documents a month indefinitely, with a native PDF, QR code, verification URL and full legal retention.
Do I need a card to get started?
No. You can create the account and issue your first documents without entering any payment method.
